After serving as national president for 10 years, Val Newman is stepping down. During her time of service WIMA GB has hosted two great international rallies, Lancaster in 2011 and Castleton in 2019, attracting members from all over the globe. While handing over the lead of the division to Caroline Lunnon, Val will remain as membership secretary.
We welcome Caroline Lunnon, who will take the lead for WIMA GB during the coming year serving as the acting president. Many of you know her from her round the world travels and participation in the Women Riders World Relay.
On a personal note, thank you Val, I will always remember what an amazing ride we had, leading the parade together to Chatsworth House.
